1 Ocak 2025’te paylaştığım bu İngilizce çağrıda, Gazze’de hastanelerin ve sağlık çalışanlarının korunmasını, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’nın serbest bırakılmasını istiyorum. Aşağıda İngilizce özgün metin yer alıyor; buradaki Türkçe bölüm kısa bir özetidir.
"My name is Muhammed Ersin Toy, and I am an author. Today, I speak to the conscience of humanity. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a doctor who has dedicated his life to saving others, has been unlawfully abducted by Israeli forces. This is not just an attack on one man’s freedom; it is an assault on humanity, justice, and the sanctity of saving lives.
In Gaza, hospitals are being bombed, and medical workers are being targeted. Hospitals are not battlefields; they are the last refuge of humanity. Medical workers are not enemies; they are the guardians of life. This brutality is unacceptable.
What is happening in Gaza is genocide—a people are being wiped out before the eyes of the world. Silence is no longer an option. For justice, for humanity, and for life itself, this atrocity must end.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya must be released immediately. Hospitals and healthcare workers in Gaza must be protected. And this genocide must be stopped now.
